Looking For Subscribers

A year and a half ago, my company's owners decided to buy a neat toy for the employees - a MakerGear M2 3D printer. I knew nothing (Jon Snow) about 3D printing, but I recognized the potential to make some cool things to pimp out boardgames. After a bit of playing around (and a whole lot of mistakes) a co-worker and I had finally worked out most of the kinks and were able to start printing things. And yeah, I've printed a lot of things out since then. I'm working on a Geeklist over on the Board Game Geek, but haven't published it yet. Don't worry, I plan to talk about the things I've made, my thoughts on 3D printing, and more in future posts.

So what in the world does this have to do with subscribers? Well, I'd like to see if I can't increase my following here a little bit ahead of something else coming down the pipe and I figure that the best way to do this might just be a little giveaway. No, I'm, NOT giving away a 3D printer.

What you see here is a tableau or rack for 7 Wonders Duel. This little beauty keeps your layout sane (for those of us that the layout drives insane). You can take it apart and store it and the game in the box without issue (provided you throw out your insert). All you need to do to win this little beauty is qualify.

HOW DO I QUALIFY? Well, follow this blog. Like the title says, I'm looking for subscribers, so just follow this blog. Then, comment on this post. The only other caveat is that I'm only shipping to a US address. So, on May 16th, I'll randomly pick a commenter from the list and the lucky winner will get themselves a 7 Wonders Duel 3D printed playing tableau! Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.

Nice offer!

Giving away a 3D printer would be rather expensive ... cards moving during a game makes me a little nuts too. :)

There have been a few of these types of boards I want to print, I guess I should get a 3d printer.
